1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NikNok, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

NikNok is an AI-native messaging platform where people, a general AI assistant, and content-generating agents are all members of the same conversation. The service includes messaging, group chats, calls, AI chat, and AI-powered image and video generation.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and device. You must provide accurate information where requested and keep your account information up to date. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
• Post, send, or share objectionable, offensive, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Upload malicious code or content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
• Use automated means to access the service without permission

5. Objectionable Content and Moderation

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report objectionable content from any message and block any user from within the app. We review reports and will remove offending content and suspend or terminate the responsible accounts. By using the service you agree there is no tolerance for such content or behavior.

6. AI Interactions and Data Sharing

Our service includes interactions with AI models provided by third parties. When you use AI features, your messages and conversation context are transmitted to the following providers to generate responses:

• Anthropic (Claude)
• OpenAI (GPT)
• Google (Gemini)
• DeepSeek
• ByteDance (Doubao / Volcengine)
• Moonshot (Kimi)
• Tavily (web search for AI context)

Requests are routed through a model gateway.

7. Consent and Control

Before any data is shared with AI providers, you will be asked for explicit consent within the app. This consent is separate from your acceptance of these Terms. You may withdraw consent at any time from the app settings, which will disable AI features until consent is re-granted. AI-generated responses may not always be accurate or appropriate. You use AI features at your own discretion. We are not responsible for the content generated by third-party AI models.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans and credits are sold through the app stores (Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing) and, where available, through a direct payment provider. Purchases are subject to the applicable store's terms and refund policy. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can manage or cancel them through your store account.

9. Product Analytics

We use product analytics to understand how NikNok features are used and to improve the service. In-app behavioral analytics are collected through BytePlus RangersAppLog and AppsFlyer; server-side analytics are collected through PostHog Cloud US. Analytics events may include event names, platform, app version, enumerated categories, counts, durations, and an anonymous or internal account identifier. We do not send message text, prompts, AI responses, images, files, contact details, or authentication credentials. Analytics is not used for the sale of personal information.

10. Intellectual Property

The NikNok name, logo, and application code are the property of NikNok. Content you create and share through the service remains yours.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the application settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
